Heroic Moments are special actions or 'skill tricks' a player can perform over the course of a match in Battlefield Heroes. Heroic Moments adds 5 XP to the score of the Hero that performed them, in addition to the points normally acquired from completing objectives and defeating opponents. It should also be noted that Heroic Moments increase your War Room score by 50 points for each action.
The list below names each Heroic Moment, and the actions needed to acquire it.
"Killing someone while you are in mid-air."
Note parachuting out of an aircraft or similar counts and, in fact, makes earning this Moment somewhat easier. This however makes you a target for Volley Shot. (see below)
Airborne Assault and Volley Shot (below) are easily earned on the Lunar Landing map, since the reduced gravity allows players to stay mid-air longer.
"Killing someone who is on foot with a rocket launcher from far away."
The exact distance for this effect isn't specifically stated, nor is there an effective way to 'measure out' that distance in-game. Kills, that result from direct hits with Grenade Launchers (from the Battle Rifles for example) also award this Moment.
"Killing two infantry enemies or more at once using an explosive weapon or ability."
Rocket Launchers, Sticky TNT, or abilities like Grenade Spam, Troop Trap or Explosive Keg all count towards this moment. Killing multiple opponents in a vehicle, however, does not. (See 'Full House' below)
Note that this Moment still counts if the Commando is killed in his semi-transparent state while he is close to the player.
"Killing someone while you have 1 point of health left."
"Exiting a vehicle and entering another without touching the ground or another object in between."
This is easily done on Wake when your plane is damaged and you need a new one. Simply fly over to your Airport, and bail right before you're over the new plane. Your free fall path is almost vertical and don't forget to smash your E key while mid-air.
"Killing a manned plane in mid-air with a tank."
Easiest to pull off on an enemy plane during take-off, since they're still slow and close to the ground.
"First kill in a round."
"Sit in a jeep or tank that makes a roll (goes back on wheels after being up-side-down)."
"Killing a fully manned vehicle."
This means either: a Jeep with a driver and two passengers; a Tank and turret-rider; or an Airplane with a pilot and two wingmen. The easiest one tends to be killing the slow-moving Tanks with an RPG as players feel 'safer' as a passenger in a Tank Turret.
"Killing someone while being a passenger in a jeep."
"Last kill in a round."
"Killing someone while you are dead."
"Killing someone by driving over them with a jeep."
"Killing a manned ground vehicle while it is in mid air."
"Killing an infantry enemy with a grenade before it touches the ground or any other object."
"Killing someone by driving over them with a tank."
Note: With you are on a plane in mid-air, you exit the plane and the plane kills someone (with no one inside) is also called Tank Smash
"Killing someone while being a passenger in a tank."
Most easily accomplished as a Gunner armed with a rocket launcher.
"Killing an infantry enemy while he is in mid air."
Shooting down parachuting opponents also counts for this Moment. The enemy may return fire to try and earn an Airborne Assault. (see above)
"Killing someone by hitting them with the wing of a plane."
"Killing someone while being a passenger on a plane."
